Heat Pump System Trainer

Application: An educational heat pump training system for demonstrating heating and cooling cycles and four-way valve operation.

Compressor: 1/2 hp, 220 volts/single-phase/50 Hz, reciprocating;

Refrigerant: R-134a

Heat Exchanger 1: Air-cooled; fan motor power 9 watts

Heat Exchanger 2: Water tank with a capacity of at least 10 liters, equipped with a circulation pump and isolation valve. The heat exchange process can be observed through a transparent container, observation window, or similar device. Immersion design.

Four-way valve: A reversing valve determined by the compressor load for switching heat pump modes.

Expansion valves: Two expansion valves determined by the compressor load.

Pressure gauges: High-pressure gauge with a maximum range of 35 bar, low-pressure gauge with a maximum range of 15 bar; dial diameter not less than 63 mm.

COP display: Real-time calculation and display of coefficient of performance. Software functionality is also available.

Fault Simulation: 8 fault scenarios

Control Panel: 15 A molded case circuit breaker; magnetic contactor; thermal overload relay; digital power meter; timer; buttons; red, green, yellow, and white indicator lights

Data Board/Software: Measurement points should include at least the compressor suction and discharge ports, heat exchanger inlet and outlet, expansion device inlet and outlet, and ambient pressure.

Sensors:
Quantity: 8 temperature sensors + 2 pressure transmitters;
Type: PT100 platinum resistance temperature sensors and 4~20mA pressure transmitters

Interface: Wired network or USB interface for connection to the host.

Software compatible with Windows 10/11, featuring Morrillon chart/pressure-enthalpy chart display and data logging functions.
